Hartlaub’s turaco (Tauraco hartlaubi) is a striking, medium-sized bird native to the montane forests of East Africa. In particular, it is most commonly found in Kenya and northern Tanzania. The species is easily recognized by its vivid green plumage. Additionally, a deep blue tail provides strong visual contrast. Most notably, a distinctive white eye-ring gives
